Cookies are files created by sites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing data. Sometimes, these cookies can cause issues with other websites and need to be cleared to remedy an issue.

After you clear cache and cookies:

  1. Some settings on sites get deleted. For example, if you were signed in, you’ll need to sign in again.
  2. Some sites can seem slower the first time you go to them because content, like images, needs to load again. This time delay should not occur once you begin to surf the internet as normal.
