Sometimes your computer will close Google File Stream (G Drive), whether that be after a restart or simply from just coming back to the computer after being idle for an extended period of time. Of course, this hinders your ability to save files to the G Drive.
To relaunch the program, complete these simple steps:
- Click the "Start" button in the lower lefthand corner of your screen.
- Find "Drive File Stream" from the programs and select it.
- Sign in (if necessary) and begin saving files to your G Drive as normal.
If the program still does not open up or "Drive File Stream" does not appear in the list of programs on your system, please open a tech support ticket.
