If a set of headphones do not produce sound when plugged into a Windows computer, complete the following solutions in order:
- Ensure that the headphone jack is fully plugged into the system
- Try another pair of headphones to verify you do not have a bad set
- Restart the computer by going to the "Start" menu in the bottom left hand corner. Under the power options, select the "Restart" command
