Caution: If you choose to solely use the method of phone call to a classroom/office desk phone, you will not be able complete two-step verification if you are not near your classroom/office desk phone and therefore may be unexpectedly locked out of your account.


In addition to this method, it is recommended you setup at least one other sign in method to avoid losing access to your account. You may also choose one of these other sign in methods:

The following steps will walk you through how to setup a phone call to a classroom/office desk phone to use with two-step verification:

  1. Sign into Clever here and find the Setup Two-Step Verification button, as shown below:

  2. Find the Setup Two-Step Verification button, as shown below:
  3. Select Add method or Add sign-in method, as shown below:
  4. Select Office phone from the list, and then select Add.
  5. On the Phone page, in the Enter phone number box, enter 419-986-6610 and in the Extension box, enter your classroom/desk phone extension, then select Next.
  6. Answer the verification phone call, sent to the phone number you entered, and follow the instructions.
